2018 – Current
As CEO & Founder at SIMMS Solutions, I and my team have partnered with SIMMS’ clients to define their company’s strategy, the role of technology and automation in said strategy, and the execution of their technology roadmap to realize their growth goals. SIMMS clients have included startups such as UNiTE Food standing up their eCommerce storefront in two weeks, to large established institutions such as California school districts custom build of a decision support system spanning multiple years.
Prior to launching SIMMS Solutions, I was the Chief Operating Officer at Ultra Mobile, the leading nationwide mobile carrier developing first-of-its kind mobile phone services for immigrant and foreign born communities. I was tasked with spearheading engineering, technology, operations, customer support and program management functions. As a result of my fearless leadership, I facilitated Ultra Mobile’s transition and transformation from a startup-up to a scale-up leveraging my skillset in both technology and operational management. Ultimately, leading the strategic spend management initiatives to maximize profitability resulting in two financial years of >$20M of EBITA.

As an interim Chief Technology Officer, I defined and managed a scalable technology roadmap, talent organization, management structure, and processes for a growing digital media organization with over 60 owned and operated web properties across multiple technology stacks, 64M subscribers, and over 800M views per month.
I led an extensive revenue cycle assessment for a large integrated managed care consortium to identify >$5M in savings opportunities through patient registration, claims recovery process, and technology improvements.
I led the definition and execution of the identity and access management, and business recovery efforts for Sony Pictures following their system compromise in 2015.

Over the course of my career, I have also held senior roles at MedAssets, Inc., Decision Support Services and I started my career as a software engineer at Toyota Motor Sales.

A regular thought leader with my finger on the pulse in the areas of business, entrepreneurship and innovation, I have been featured in leading publications including The Huffington Post and Inc. 500 Magazine. Additionally, I was featured in an exclusive business profile in the first-ever Vistage Perspective publication.
I have completed an Executive Business Program at Stanford as well as obtained a Master of Science in information Systems Auditing from California State University Polytechnic, Pomona, and a Bachelor of Psychology from California State University, Fullerton. I am passionate about giving back in the evolving technology community and am a member of Alley to The Valley – where I was able to obtain four private equity firms to sign letters of intent for the management buyout of Ultra Mobile.
I am regularly requested to speak on-stage at leading industry conferences. Most recently I was invited to speak at the North American Telecom Customer Experience Management Conference in Atlanta Georgia and in London. During my keynote, I presented on the role of artificial intelligence in delivering an elevated customer experience.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am deeply committed to giving back to the community. I serve on the board of Working Wardrobes and volunteer for organizations such as L.A. Works and Elevate. I am dedicated to making a positive impact beyond the boardroom.
Personal
I reside in Los Angeles with my husband, Mike, and our two children, Madeleine and Mikey.
In my free-time I frequent the LA flower market, enjoy painting, and spending quality time with my family, and chosen family.
